Detailing on the Altezza

one fine day, was cleaning the ride.... just out of curiousity, spread some Meguairs Gold Class Wax on the ride..... omigosh!!! the difference was too great to ignore!!! the car's paint was bad! think i need to get some detailing work to be done on my car.....

managed to get a relatively good deal from Demon on the full detailing for my altezza.... got Mun to attend my ride last saturday....... came around 11am...... (he supposed to be there around 930am and i waited for him till i almost fall asleep.....) Mun started by investigate the overall paint surface of the car...... nothing major he said...... and he started off with car wash...... took him more than 3 hours JUST TO WASH THE CAR!!! can you imagine that he took almost 10 minutes just to wash the door handle! really pro! use everything, includin toothbrush to wash those hard to reach and wash areas........ even clean up my engine bay.....

after washing and cleaning the car, he proceeded with the surface preparation... uses meguairs diamond cut, he started off to clean up the surface of the paints before waxing..... took him some hours of waxing and another car wash before another round of waxing......

overall, after cleaning the interior, it took him almost 9 hours to fully detailed my car..... (from 11am til 800pm......can u imagine that? really worth the money that i paid to them........

will try to upload some photos on the finished product...... heheheh........

well, it doesn't came across my mind to post my new ride on the blog, until i saw EJ's posting on his ER34.... wat the heck.....just for memory......

got my white TOYOTA ALTEZZA from another car fan, and after a lengthy period of loan arrangement, inspection and transfer of ownership, finally i took delivery of the car on Friday, 15th Sept 2006.....

car was decent, clean and without much flaw.....clocked almost 67k on the odometer........ appearance wise, this is one of the best Altezza that i have came across.....

some basic specs:

Toyota Altezza SXE 10
BEAMS 3SGE Engine (200BHP)
Automatic Tiptronic with Steering Shift Buttons
Legana Bodykit (a.k.a. NEO Bodykit)

Evolution of Skully continues......

the evolution of skully kept on progressing to a ground where there are no way for me to stop... hahahah....... literally...... it kept getting worse after i know a bunch of enthusiasts and a shop known as Racing Fit..... started off with installation of aftermarket taiwanese MOVE tail lites......... then peanut tail lites........ side stickers......... MOVE Side Mirrors....... ori MOVE L9 scoop, bonnet wings, etc......

internally, he was injected with dosage of SAFC, K&N Open Pod and Hot Bits Full Piping (extractor to end, mind you....) at a very attractive bargain price from leftism...

to further enhance my driving visibility, a set of retro-fit HID was installed...... it was taken off from a Mazda 6 head light and it took me and mikeeeee 2 restless weeks to install, test and calibrate the headlight.......

lastly, the ride is done...... almost..... hehehehe........ felt that had enuf of R33 seats, managed to sold if off and installed daihatsu MOVE L902 Peanut version seats...... comfort finally, but no more body hugging performance.......

this is one of the final pics that i can salvage online...... think lanatir posted this online..... and i dont even have this in my pc!!! hahahah.......

The evolution of Skully: Part 3

felt that its quite empty and standard internally, decided to respray the centre dash and centre console to silver........ just to complement the ride.... installed an Apex'i Auto Timer.......

not too long after that, as i was busybodying checking out my friend's purchase of an Evo III Engine, stumbled across one pair of Nissan Skyline GTR-R33 front seats....... too good to be true, and too cheap to resist.... hahahaha..... can's stop myself....... finally bought it and the next thing is history..... installed it in my car........

GTR R33 Seats in my car... Comfy, stylish and great feel!!!

Color coded dash and centre console....

Amps configuration

another view of the R33 seats......

The evolution of Skully: Part 2

as continuation of the modding phase, here are more pics based on the first level mods.......

Rear view of my "standard ride"

Here are the view of my subwoofers.....
dunno why i opted for such a big boom box..... hahaha.....

the engine bay remained standard (except for the strut bar of course)

The evolution of Skully: Part 1

My ride in 2001

My ride, a 2001 Perodua Kenari, started off like other Kenari........ UGLY.... hahaha....... and my friends was asking me why i bought the ride....... it was like, "EEEEUUUU......... SO UGLY...."

Anyway, back to the evolution of my ride, codename Skully (does not have any close relationship with Gillian Anderson from X-Files)..... and u will know why i named her Skully.........

Stage 1:
Before i even picked up the car, the 15in K-Speed rims was waiting at Steven's shop, wrapped in Silverstone KTZ 165/45/15 tyres........ once my ride is ready, headed straight to the shop, but found out that the joker ordered the wrong PCD wheel for me (ordered a 143.3 instead of a 100)... have to wait.....

Weekend came....... went straight to Frankie's. Selected a few stuff, grabbed some from my previous Iswara configuration. Equipped her with 2 ROCKFORD FOSGATE 10" subwoofers, 2 ROCKFORD FOSGATE Amps, Panasonic CD Player (which i changed to a Pioneer DEF 7350 later).... got her some reflective silver tints....... and that's a start.....

waited for another week before her "Sports shoes" were replaced with a trendier K-Speed (ENKEI-RP01 look-a-like)

15 inch on a Kenari was RARE in 2001

CNY is over...... get back in shape

Think i munched too much and guzzled too much drinks during Chinese New Year. Its time to shape back......

Stepped back into the gym today......got fined RM 70 as i was absent for 6 months..... hahahah....since mid last year.... paid RM 140, which includes the fine and monthly fees.......

Eagerly, i stepped on the stationary cycle..... cycled for more than 25 minutes...... can really feel the heart is pumping hard and my sweat was like, burst pipe! hahahaha......... after some strectching exercise, continued on the routines......... had to start at a lower weight setting as it has been quite some time since i lifted those heavy buggers......... used to max out on the weights but decided to go on a slower pace...... hahahah......

was a good day work out..... din know why there are so many guys with the size like me in the gym nowadays....... my instructor Teddy was commenting.... i should come more often...... and regularly....... hahahha...... i really hoped so, provided i have the time......

anyway, back at home, took a shower, and leaped onto the bed for a short nap..... really pushing my body to the max today after a long break.......

Rubbing shoulders with Tsuchiya-san, Kazama-san and Dai-San

K2OC and the Drift King (Keiichi Tsuchiya)

Was at the launch of Amprex Motorsports and Idemitsu Service Center..... Special guest of the show was none other than the DRIFT KING of Japan, Keiichi Tsuchiya and Dai-Inada.........

Managed to get him to signed some authograph on Bernard's D1 T-Shirt and a D1 poster for myself......... and the best thing of all, managed to snapped some pictures with Tsuchiya-san and Dai-san as well as Kazama-san.

Don't know who are they? hahahaha..........

* Dai-Inada:
Daredevil from the hell....... Survival of the famous Gumball 3000 Option Fairlady 350Z crash a few years ago.....
* Kazama-san: Japan D1 Champion of 2004...... A funny and great guy!

* Keiichi Tsuchiya: Need to elaborate more???
Was a memorable outing........ but was wondering...... no one knows who is Dai-san? only me is going ga-ga on taking photos with him........
"Tsuchiya-san, Dai-san, Kazama-san, Arigato gozaimasu. Hajimemashite. Dozo yoroshiku"
